Simplicity (Chile)
Chilean wines have been one of the great success stories for the wine trade and
H.B.Clark is no exception. We first listed the Vistamar range in 75cl. bottles in 2005
and they have proved very successful indeed. Eighteen months ago, we added
a range of Single Serve Vistamar.
We believe that the time has come to offer existing and potential customers an added
advantage at no extra cost. We have agreed with Vistamar that the Simplicity range will
be exclusive to H.B Clark in the North of England. The Simplicity juice in Sauvignon Blanc,
Chardonnay, Rosé, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon will be the same as before but there will be
a new, attractive label and the guaranteed increased exclusivity.
The Simplicity range will also become available in Single Serve size.
The H.B.Clark wine team is very excited by being now able to offer customers the
same quality products safe in the knowledge that the Simplicity range is only available
to the On-Trade in the North of England from H.B.Clark. |

Larks’ Ridge
The success of our Wine Development programme over the last four years has led to a number of advantages for our customers in these difficult times for the On-Trade.
In particular, the increase in volumes sold has enabled us to reduce some of the price increases forced on us by Chancellors’ exchange rates and rises in the costs of wine, glass and transport. During this period, our strategy has remained the supply of well-made and very good value wines which are as exclusive as possible.
The introduction of the Larks’ Ridge range is a very significant step in our Wine Development programme. There are seven Larks’ Ridge wines, all from the New World and all of excellent entry-level quality. They offer a combination of the tried and trusted such as Blush from California, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile to the rarer such as the Reserve Chardonnay and Pinotage Merlot from South Africa.
All the Larks’ Ridge wines have plenty of up-front fruit and show well the characters of their constituent grape varieties.
The juice has been carefully selected by our wine team for quality and value for money and we will be able to oversee the future development of the range extension as well as the quality. The Larks’ Ridge range is totally exclusive to H.B. Clark and to H.B. Clark’s customers. |
