We have totally revamped our Australia section for this edition starting with Auction House replacing the no longer available Kelly’s Promise wines at Entry Level point.

The major changes have been at the next three levels however, where we have introduced three highly respected, quality wine making names in Nugan Estate, Grant Burge and Thorn-Clarke. Our Wine Team has spent six months tasting hundreds of wines from all over Australia and we believe after this extensive and exhaustive research programme that we have found the best wines in their respective categories.

These wines are exclusive to the UK On-Trade and largely exclusive to H. B. Clark in our geographical trading area so you can be assured that they will not appear in your local supermarket or indeed your competitor pub or restaurant down the road from your business.

With alarm bells ringing in the Australian Wine Industry due to 30%+ crop failure in some areas during
2007 harvest due to drought and disease, prices are likely to climb significantly during the next year. Our prices are fixed for this period so we would urge you to take advantage and list some of these exciting varietals, many of which we can offer extensive Point of Sale back-up support and arrange tasting nights.

Our search of Australia for premium quality varietals has produced one or two ‘gems’. H.B. Clark have found a number of quality wines from ‘boutique’ wineries which are virtually exclusive to us and cannot be found in the Off-Trade marketplace.
